ALI.ZAINALABIDIN-4 (son of SAIDINA*HUSSEIN-ALI-ABITHOLIB-3(RA)) was born 656 in 36H, and died 713 in 93H, Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

Ali became the father of Muhammad al-baaqir 59H. He is the father of all the descendents of Imam Hussein (Husseinuyun) and the only survival among Imam Hussein's sons. His father and brothers were martyred in Karbala. His other two brothers Muhammad and Jafar died at the very young age, before the Karbala war. The title Zainal-Abidin, meaning 'The graceful Worshipper', was given to him because of his devotion in prayers. Ali Zainal-Abidin was among his contemporaries at the peak in terms of scholarship, honour, generosity and good conduct. He is also known as Sajjad, meaning The worshipper. He died in Madina in the year 93H and was buried in Baqyi cemetery.
